I’m Kaya — an artist, educator, and intuitive maker based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. My background is in architecture.

Next to developing my own practice I work as an academic teacher at the Eindhoven University of Technology, where I give classes and tutor architecture students.

I also collaborate with the Amsterdam University of Arts.

Art and creativity have always been my way of connecting with the world, and on this path I see myself as both a teacher and a lifelong student.

I develop my own practice using creative activities as a tool for connection with self and with the world.

Through my work, I aim to create spaces — on paper and in life — where intuition, imagination, and growth come together.

I am an artist who invites you to experience what art gives me.

Through slow, hands-on creative practice, I guide you to reconnect with your inner world and give it tangible form. My work centres around honesty in expression — moving away from imitation and toward something that feels truly your own.

The workshops and lessons I offer are not about perfect technique. They are about slowing down, working with your hands, and discovering how creative practice can quiet the inner critic and open space for reflection.

For those drawn to tactile processes, I guide linocut workshops — a direct and grounding way to translate inner images into physical form.
