Den Bosch and Amsterdam NDSM

“Perfect! Kaya guides you in the right direction with the right advice.”

Cristine, workshop participant

“Kaya is a friendly, inspiring person and simply a good teacher. Lino printing workshop gave me sacred, focused time. I love my print, the imperfections made it honest, raw and beautiful.”

I guide participants to connect with their own ideas, feelings, and imagination, turning quiet reflection into tangible, personal creations.

A young woman: called Kaya Heyman with brown hair wearing a yellow sweater, holding a pen, standing in front of a wall with architectural sketches and drawings. Artist and designer with an architectural background, offering art for sale and teaching.

I’m Kaya — an artist, educator, and intuitive maker based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands.

Art and creativity have always been my way of connecting with the world, and on this path I see myself as both a teacher and a lifelong student.

Currently, I’m developing my own practice using creative activities as a tool for connection with self and with the outside world. I hold an MSc in Architecture from TU Eindhoven, where I occasionally teach architectural drawing and design.

Through my work, I aim to create spaces — on paper and in life — where intuition, imagination, and healing come together.

I’m Kaya – an artist who invites you to experience what art gives me.

Through slow, hands-on creative practice, I guide you to reconnect with your inner world and give it tangible form. My work centers around honesty in expression — moving away from imitation and toward something that feels truly your own.

These workshops and lessons are not about perfect technique. They are about slowing down, working with your hands, and discovering how creative practice can quiet the inner critic and open space for reflection.

With a background in architecture, I bring a strong sense of structure and spatial awareness to my teaching. For those drawn to tactile processes, I also guide linocut workshops — a direct and grounding way to translate inner images into physical form.

You can join me online or in my studio in Den Bosch.

If you feel the pull to create, you’re most welcome here.
